Any order made pursuant to Section 1503.04 and served pursuant to Section 1503.05 shall be complied with by the owner or occupant within the time specified by the Fire Marshal in the order. Any owner or occupant may, within forty-eight hours, file a written appeal of the order with the office of the Director of Public Safety. The Director shall, within three days, review the order and file his decision thereon with the Fire Marshal. Unless the Director finds that the fire hazard or violation of law does not exist and, by his authority, the Fire Marshal's order is revoked or modified, the order shall remain in full force and be complied with within the time fixed in the decision of the Director. No person shall fail to comply with the order within that period of time.
