§ 150.160 PROHIBITED LOCATIONS FOR HEAT-PRODUCING EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   Heating and water heating equipment shall not be installed under combustible stairways or in sleeping rooms, bathrooms or toilet rooms.
   (B)   Solid fuel burning equipment shall not be installed above the first story.
   (C)   Smoke pipes, where hazardous to human occupancy, shall be insulated from furnace to chimney with a double-lined flue pipe.
   (D)   Bathroom wall insert heaters and switches shall be located as far as practicable from plumbing fixtures and a minimum of 30 inches from tub or shower.
   (E)   Clothes dryers:
      (1)   Shall not be installed in bathrooms or bedrooms;
      (2)   Shall be exhausted to the outside air and all exhaust ducts shall be constructed of metal or other non-combustible material; and/or
      (3)   Shall be equipped with approved automatic pilots (in other than single-family homes).
