§ 150.138 FIRE WALLS; FIRESTOPS.
   (A)   Fire walls will be constructed between each business, extending a minimum of 18 inches above the roof, as approved by the Fire Prevention Bureau.
   (B)   All buildings shall contain firestops at all intersections of the interior and exterior walls, floors, ceilings and roofs in such a manner as to effectively cut off communication of fire by means of draft. Firestops shall extend the full width of the studding and shall be sufficiently rigid to act in the manner of a lateral bracing for the individual stud. All fire-stopping required in this division (B) shall be not less than two inches in width less than the enclosed space within the partition.
