§ 150.031 LIMITATION.
   (A)   Construction of all buildings must commence within 60 days after obtaining a permit and the building must be completed within six months from the time construction commenced. In the event construction is not commenced upon any building or structure for which a permit has been issued by the Village Clerk within 60 days of the issuance of the permit, or if the construction of the building or structure is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has commenced for a period of 90 days, the permit shall expire by limitation and become null and void. After construction may be commenced, in the event no work has yet been done or recommended but suspended or abandoned for the period of 90 days, a new permit shall be obtained first upon payment of half the amount required for a new permit.
   (B)   If construction has not been completed within the first six months, the applicant may extend the permit for an additional 90-day period upon payment of a permit fee in the amount of 50% of the original permit fee.
   (C)   If construction has not been completed within nine months of issuance of the permit, the applicant must obtain a one-time permit at a flat rate of $1,000 until a certificate of occupancy is issued.
