§ 119.38 REPORT TO POLICE; INSPECTION.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of every business operator to make out and deliver to the sheriff of the county in which the business operates, on each day before the hour of 12:00 noon, a legible and exact copy from the standard record book, as required herein, that lists all personal property and other valuable things received on deposit or purchased during the preceding day, together with the exact time when received or purchased, and a description of the person or person by whom left in pledge, or from whom the same were purchased as is required by state law.
   (B)   The copy of from the standard record book, as well as every article or other thing of value so pawned or pledged, shall, at all times, be open to the inspection the Chief of Police of the village or any member of the Police Department of the village.
