§ 112.05 INVESTIGATION.
   (A)   Within 48 hours of receipt of an application for a license or permit where the ordinances of the village necessitate an inspection or investigation before the issuance of the permit or license, the Village Clerk shall refer the application to the proper officer for making the investigation.
      (1)   The Health Officer shall make or cause to be made an investigation in regard to licenses in connection with the care and handling of food, the prevention of nuisances and the spread of disease for the protection of health.
      (2)   The Building Inspector shall make or cause to be made any inspections relative to the construction of buildings or other structures.
      (3)   All other investigations, except where otherwise provided, shall be made by the Village Chief of Police or some other officer designated by the Village President.
   (B)   The officer charged with the duty of making an investigation or inspection shall make a report thereon, favorable or otherwise, within ten days after receiving the application or a copy thereof.
