No motor scooter or motorized scooter shall be driven upon or across any sidewalk or other public way within the village’s corporate limits, and the fact of state registration of the vehicles shall not entitle the owner or driver of any scooter to an exemption from the prohibition. Failure of the owner or driver of the motor scooter or motorized scooter to comply with this prohibition shall subject the person(s) to a citation for violation of the village code as provided in § 73.99.
