The Office of Code Enforcement Officer is hereby created for the purpose of administering the provisions of this chapter and the powers delegated to the Town by Utah Code Annotated section 10-11-1 et seq., subject to such control and review as the Mayor may from time to time direct. Until such time as the Mayor may otherwise appoint a Code Enforcement Officer, the Building Inspector, Fire Chief and the Chief of Police shall perform the function of Code Enforcement Officers. The Mayor may appoint such Assistant Code Enforcement Officers and delegate to them such powers and duties as may from time to time be determined. The powers and duties of the Assistants shall be the same as those of the Code Enforcement Officer. (Ord. 98-2, 5-4-1998)
