Existing wrecking yards will be grandfathered in at their present location with the following requirements:
A. Stacking Of Vehicles: Vehicles must not be stacked one (1) upon another.
B. Expansion: The present site may not be expanded unless it is in an area zoned as industrial and meets all the requirements set forth for a new wrecking yard. (Ord. 2000-6, 7-10-2000)
C. Fencing Required: A minimum six foot (6') chainlink fence with privacy slats must be installed around the yard areas as a visual barrier. Any other visible barrier must be approved by the Planning Commission. (Ord. 2000-6, 8-13-2001; amd. 2017 Code)
D. Failure To Obtain Required Licenses: Failure to get a State and local license for six (6) consecutive months shall cause this grandfather clause to be null and void and the business will be dissembled and moved to the proper area within ninety (90) days.
E. Ownership Changes: If a business changes ownership, this grandfather clause immediately becomes null and void. (Ord. 2000-6, 7-10-2000)
