All structures, dwelling units and establishments using water from the Town system must have such number of water meters connected to their water system as are necessary in the judgment of the Watermaster to adequately measure use and determine water charges to the respective water users. Meters will be furnished by the Town at the expense of the property holder at rates established from time to time by resolution. Service users may request that the town Water Department come to the service user's serviced property to read the water meter on the serviced property and provide a determination to a service user of the current reading of the meter. These requests shall generally be limited to once every calendar month per water meter. The Mayor or Water Department has the authority to determine and assess reasonable readings fees for requests by service users that exceed once every calendar month per water meter.
