There is a weight limit hereby established on Town streets to be thirty five thousand (35,000) pounds. Anything over that weight limit is restricted, except that those contractors doing building construction may apply to the Town for a temporary permit allowing a greater weight limit for a stated period of time. Other vehicles needing a temporary permit for greater weight limit will be looked at on a case by case basis by the Road Department and/or Town Engineer.
