(A) Parking for single family residential uses and duplexes is permitted in the required front or street side yard only on a hard surface driveway that does not exceed 20 feet in width and that leads to a garage, carport, house or rear yard. Parking is permitted on approved pull-offs, but only if the pull-off was approved by the city and was constructed in accordance with the regulations and specifications of the city, including the City of St. Matthews Public Works and Assets Policy.
(B) The surface of the roadway, along with the roadway curb (if any) and any street signage is the maintenance responsibility of the City of St. Matthews. Any driveway, or driveway apron, is the sole responsibility of the property owner.
