§ 70.05 TRAFFIC-CONTROL SIGNS, UNIFORM STANDARDS TO BE PRESCRIBED; SIGN TO CONFORM.
   All traffic-control signs and devices shall be placed within the city in accordance with the Uniform Traffic-Control Devices Manual, latest edition, as adopted by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Satisfactory operating traffic devices in use on the date of adoption of the manual may continue to be used, however, if such devices are replaced or revised, they must be replaced or revised in conformance with the provisions of the manual. Wherever discretion is permitted, or the determination made that public safety requires, such traffic- control devices or markings may be authorized by resolution of the city council on recommendation of the mayor or chief of police. Any traffic-control device, marking, or sign put in place in accordance with the provisions of this chapter shall be enforced in accordance with the provisions of the Kentucky Revised Statutes.
