Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not less than $250 nor more than $500 or imprisonment not to exceed 50 days, or both, for each offense. Each day on which any violation of this chapter shall occur shall be considered a separate offense.
