It is the policy of the city to allow freedom of choice as to activities on Sunday to the maximum extent permissible under state law realizing that the conditions enumerated in the statutes on these activities so allowed will protect the rights of employees of businesses operating on Sundays and will insure a reasonable level and desirable atmosphere of peace and tranquility on Sundays.
