(A) The following persons shall, before entering on the duties of their respective offices, execute bond to the city in the penal sum set opposite their respective titles:
(1) Mayor, $10,000
(2) City clerk, $10,000
(3) City treasurer, $10,000
(4) Any other person authorized by the city to sign checks or warrants for the payment of city funds, $10,00
(B) The bond of the city clerk shall be filed with the mayor, and all other bonds shall be filed with the city clerk.
