Pursuant to KRS 83A.045 (b), the city hereby elects to forego conducting a nonpartisan primary election for the nomination of candidates to city office, regardless of the number of candidates running for each office, and require all candidates to file a nominating petition with the County Clerk as provided by KRS Chapter 118.
