Every person, firm, or corporation operating motor buses or trolley coaches on the streets of the city for compensation or gain, shall locate, subject to the approval of the director of works, and maintain uniform loading and unloading zones for passengers. All loading and unloading zones shall have signs posted specifying "coach stop" which shall be uniform in color and design. The location of the signs shall be considered the boundary of the loading zone in the direction in which the traffic is flowing.
