§ 34.19 PUBLIC SUBMITTALS.
   It is not the intent of the city to allow postings or submittals by the public on official city social media sites. However, the city may choose to allow submittals or posts to an official city site if the content does not violate the social media policy and it in keeping with the city’s stated purpose of providing public information. Users shall not have the authority and may not directly post their own content without prior approval of the city. If approved by the city, the content will be posted by the designate persons who are authorized to post social media content on the city’s social media accounts and no other person(s). Reproduced or borrowed content that violates third party rights will be hidden. Users should have no expectation of privacy when asking approval for a post to a city site.
