905.03  PERMIT TO TRIM, REMOVE; BOND.
   (a)    No person shall cut, break, climb, trim or remove any tree in, along or upon a public sidewalk, unless he shall first have obtained a permit therefor from the City Manager. Any person desiring such permit shall make application thereof to the City Manager, upon a form approved by the Manager.
   (b)    To assure the safety of property of others, including public property, from damage and injuries and removal of debris and proper clean-up as a result of the trimming, cutting and removal of trees, any person or person obtaining such permit under this section shall also give bond, with good security to be approved by the Manager, in such amount as may be determined sufficient by the City Manager conditioned upon the faithful compliance of all requirements of this section, and of all amendments thereto, and of any other law or ordinance of the City touching the premises and upon the compliance of the directions which may be required of him by the permit that may be issued hereunder.
