(a) Maximum Storage Capacity Permitted. If oil or other liquid storage facilities are established incidental to a producing well on a drill site, such storage facilities shall not exceed a total of 2,000 barrels per well.
(b) Skim Pits. No open or unlined skim pits shall be constructed or used.
(c) Storage. The following items respecting storage tanks shall meet requirements of the Office of Oil and Gas:
(1) Location of tanks;
(2) Spacing between tanks;
(3) Foundations and supports;
(4) Stairs, platforms and walkways;
(5) Dikes, diversion walls and catchment basins;
(6) Tank design and construction;
(7) Vents; and
(8) Tank valves.
(d) Location of Truck Loading Facilities. Tank vehicle loading racks, loading platforms, movable loading spouts or arms dispensing flammable liquids shall be separated from tanks, warehouses, other buildings, public streets and the nearest line of property that may be built upon by a clear distance of not less than twenty-five feet measured from the nearest position of any fill stem. Buildings for pumps or for shelter of loading personnel may be part of the loading rack or platform. (Passed 11-20-81)
