Any individual, company or corporation desiring to move or transport any building, structure or object which occupies or requires more space than is usually required by motor trucks and other motor vehicles of commerce on or over the streets, alleys, highways or boulevards within the corporate limits of the City, shall make formal application of such intention to the Director of Public Service and Safety. Applications shall set forth the route to be used, the type of object to be transported and other pertinent facts required by the Director.
