§ 35.21 COST RECOVERY PROCEDURE.
   (A)   The Public Safety Director, or his or her designee, shall determine when a Public Safety incident, Fire or other incident/event as described in § 35.20 has occurred, giving rise to potential assessable costs to a responsible party. In making such a determination, the Public Safety Director shall consult with other city personnel involved and the City Manager.
   (B)   If it is determined that a Public Safety incident, Fire or other incident/event per this subchapter has occurred, and costs can properly be assessed, the city shall initiate the procedure to bill the costs to all responsible parties. If more than 1 responsible party is identified, such costs are to be considered the joint and several responsibility of the identified parties.
   (C)   The assessed cost will be that cost provided for by the City Fee and Rate schedule.
