769.36 SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF LICENSES.
   In addition to the penalty provided in Section 701.99, any licensee, either owner, operator or driver, may be subject to the suspension or revocation of his license upon being convicted of a violation of any ordinance of the City or other law relating to motor vehicles, their operation or equipment. Any suspension or revocation shall be made by the City Manager and shall be for a period for not more then one year except that in the event of a subsequent conviction for a violation of the same ordinance or law as in the first conviction, the City Manager may permanently revoke the license. Notice of suspension or revocation shall be given to the licensee in writing whereupon the licensee shall deliver his license to the City Manager. (Ord. 8525. Passed 11-22-55.)
