705.04 LICENSE FEES; BONDS.
   (a)    The fee for licenses required under the provisions of this chapter shall be paid at the time of the filing of the application for such licenses and shall be as follows:
      (1)    Carnivals. One hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per day or any part thereof or six hundred dollars ($600.00) per week, plus fifty dollars ($50.00) per day for every food concession or mechanical or nonmechanical ride.
      (2)    Circuses. Two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per day or any part thereof, as well as seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per day for water used and consumed on the premises, together with a cash bond in the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00) to be deposited with the City Manager at the time of the application for the license for the purpose of indemnifying the City for any cleanup costs incurred on the premises used by the circus. If no cleanup is required by the City, the bond shall be returned.
      (3)    Dances. As follows:
         A.    One day -       $ 5.00
         B.    One week -       10.00
         C.    One month-       20.00
         D.    One year -       150.00
      (4)    Fairs. One hundred fifty dollars ($150 00) per day or any part thereof or six hundred dollars ($600.00) per week, plus fifty dollars ($50.00) per day for every food concession or mechanical or nonmechanical ride.
       (5)   Festivals. One hundred thirty dollars ($130.00) per day or any part thereof or six hundred dollars ($600.00) per week, plus fifty dollars ($50.00) per day for every food concession or mechanical or nonmechanical ride.
      (6)   Juke boxes. Fifteen dollars ($15.00) per machine per year plus any surcharge made under Section 705.14 for those establishments having a juke box within the confines of such establishment.
    (7)    Amusement machines and computerized sweepstakes devices. Five hundred dollars ($500.00) per device per year, plus any surcharge made under Section 705.14 for any establishment having such devices within the confines of the establishment. The license shall run from January 1 to December 31 of each year, but if a shorter period of operation occurs during any one year, then that proportion, on a per month basis of the total annual fee, shall be assessed.
       (8)   Movies. One hundred dollars ($100.00) per month.
      (9)   Shows. Fifty dollars ($50.00) per day.
      (10)   Mechanical riding devices. Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per device per year, plus any surcharge made under Section 705.14 for those establishments having such devices within the confines of the establishment.
      (11)   Arcade games. Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per device per year, plus any surcharge made under Section 705.14 for those establishments having such devices within the confines of the establishment.
   (b)   The license fees provided herein shall be issued for the times and in the manner provided, upon payment of the fees herein and no person shall suspend the payment of such fees for any reason whatsoever. (Ord. 2012-66. Passed 8-1-12.)
