All electrical wiring, installation of electrical fixtures, apparatus or electrical appliances for furnishing light, heat or power, or other electrical work introduced into or placed in or upon, or in any way connected to, any building or structure within the limits of the city shall be in conformity with the provisions set forth in the national electrical code.
