A. Exceeding Six Inches: It shall be the duty of each owner, occupant or person in control of any lands within the city, whether the same shall consist of improved or unimproved lands or lots used for any purpose whatsoever, to keep the grass cut to a height not to exceed six inches (6").
B. Failure To Cut: If any such owner, occupant or person in control of any lands within the city, whether the same shall consist of improved or unimproved lands or lots used for any purpose whatsoever, fails to keep the grass cut to a height of six inches (6"), said owner, occupant or person in control shall be notified in writing and given seven (7) days to cut the grass to comply with the provisions of this section. Failure to comply within seven (7) days will result in the city cutting the grass and assessing the cost thereof against the property. (2004 Code)
