It is the intent of this chapter to supplement the laws of the state of Iowa 1 , with respect to the operation of certain motor vehicles commonly called snowmobiles. This chapter is not intended to allow what the state statute prohibits nor to prohibit what the state statute expressly allows. Where hand signals are applicable to the operation of a snowmobile it shall be given in all instances where operated on roads and highways. (Ord. 69, 1972)
