5-2-1: KEEPING OF ANIMALS; PERMIT REQUIRED:
   A.   Keeping Of Certain Animals: It shall be unlawful to keep or maintain any swine, goats, sheep, fowl, rabbits, cattle, horses, ponies and/or bees within the city without first obtaining a permit from the city council. If the applicant for such permit is not able to obtain the written consent of all the owners and occupants of property within a radius of two hundred feet (200') of the property where the animals or livestock are kept, the permit shall be granted only upon the unanimous vote of all the city council members.
   B.   Term Of Permit; Cancellation: Permits granted under this chapter shall expire one year from the date of city council approval, and renewal shall require the same consent and vote of the city council. A permit may be withdrawn upon order of the health authority for Hardin County for violation of the requirements of section 5-2-3 of this chapter. (Ord. 93, 6-4-1979; amd. 2004 Code)
