A. Public Streets And Sidewalks:
1. Driving On Sidewalk: It shall be unlawful for any person to lead, drive or ride, or to place any horse or any beast of burden, or drive or place any automobile or other vehicle, on any sidewalk or to leave the same standing on or across any sidewalk or any footway crossing any street in the city. However, this section shall not be construed so as to prevent any person from leading, driving or riding over any sidewalk of any lot or house owned by him or his employer. 2. Injurious Material On Thoroughfares: It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit, place or allow to remain in or upon any public thoroughfare any material substance injurious to person or property.
3. Lug Wheels: It shall be unlawful for tractors with wheels injurious to pavement to be permitted upon the public thoroughfares unless the operator of such vehicle shall first plank such streets. (1975 Code)
4. Obstructing Streets: It shall be unlawful for any person to wilfully obstruct travel on any street or alley, or obstruct any walk on the streets by placing animals, vehicles or other property or substances thereon, or in any other manner, or to habitually leave any obstacle in the traveled portion of any such street or alley.
B. Injure, Deface Property:
1. Cemetery Property: It shall be unlawful for any person to trespass upon the city cemetery by destroying, injuring or defacing any grave, vault, tombstone or monument, or any building, fence, tree, shrub, flower or anything belonging to the cemetery.
2. Public Property: No person shall, without authority from the city, deface, injure or destroy, or assist in so doing, any building, bridge, sidewalk or any other property belonging to the city, nor hinder or obstruct or interfere with the work of making or repairing any city improvement, or break, extinguish or injure any street lamp or light, or the post or globe of any part thereof; nor mark, cut, deface, tear down or destroy any advertisement, notice or card posted by order of the city council or any officer of the city. 3. Private Property: It shall be unlawful for any person wilfully and maliciously to injure, deface, mutilate, remove, pull down, break or in any manner interfere with or molest or secrete or destroy any real or personal property belonging to or under the control of any person.
C. Letting Premises For Unlawful Purposes: It shall be unlawful for any person to rent, use or allow to be used any building or property owned by him, for any purpose whereby riotous or disorderly persons are gathered. (1975 Code)
