4-2-8: PENALTY AND ENFORCEMENT:
   A.   Any person found violating any of the provisions of this chapter, as amended, shall be liable for the imposition of a civil sanction not to exceed one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) for the first offense and three hundred dollars ($300.00) for each successive offense. A third violation will be considered a class one misdemeanor and subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. Each day that a violation continues after a citation for the violation has been issued constitutes a separate violation.
   B.   By enforcing this chapter, the town undertakes only to promote the general welfare and health of the community. It does not assume, nor does it impose on its officers and employees, an obligation for breach of which it is liable in money damages to any person claiming injury from such breach. (Ord.
