6-2-7: THROUGH STREETS, STOPS, RIGHTS OF WAY:
   A.   Authority To Designate: The police chief, after discussion with the public works director and with the approval of the town manager, shall designate through streets, intersections where stops are required, and intersections where vehicles shall yield the right of way. The town manager, in an open meeting, will advise the town council of any authorized changes.
   B.   Placement Of Signs: When the police chief shall designate any through street or intersection where vehicles are to stop or yield the right of way, the police chief, in conjunction with the public works department, shall erect and maintain the appropriate signs at every location where a vehicle must stop or yield the right of way. The town manager, in an open meeting, will advise the town council of any authorized changes. (2006 Code)
