6-2-1: DIRECTING TRAFFIC; AUTHORITY:
   A.   Police: The police are hereby authorized to direct all traffic by voice, hand or signal.
   B.   Fire Officials: Appropriate fire officials may direct or assist the police in directing traffic when necessary to protect the health, safety and welfare of the community, but only in an emergency situation. (2006 Code)
