735.08 PROHIBITED TRANSACTIONS.

(a) No pawnbroker shall accept the pawn of any person who is under the age of eighteen years.

(b) No pawnbroker shall accept the pawn of any person who the pawnbroker believes or has reason to believe is not the owner of such items, unless the seller has written and duly authenticated authorization from the owner permitting and directing such sale.
