723.20 PROHIBITED ACTS.
   (a)   It shall be unlawful for any person to stand in a roadway for the purpose of soliciting money or otherwise tolling the driver or passenger of any vehicle.
   (b)   It shall be unlawful for any person to stand in a roadway for the purpose of soliciting a ride from the driver of any vehicle.
   (c)   Where sidewalks are provided, it shall be unlawful for any pedestrian to walk along and upon an adjacent roadway for the purpose of solicitation.
   (d)   It shall be unlawful for any pedestrian to suddenly leave a curb or other place of safety and walk or run into the path of an approaching vehicle for the purpose of solicitation.
   (e)   It shall be unlawful for any person to assist, encourage, supervise or conspire with any other person to commit a violation of this article.
