531.05 OVERNIGHT CAMPING; EXCEPTION.
   (a)   No person shall establish or maintain any camp or other temporary lodging or sleeping place within the corporate limits of the City, upon the ground or lawn surrounding or adjacent to any City building, any property held, leased, used or owned by the City including within any City park, without first obtaining written permission of the Mayor, City Clerk or Park Superintendent.
   (b)   Overnight stays on any property as described in paragraph (a) herein, are limited to two consecutive nights, or two nights within any fourteen-day period. Any extensions to this limitation require the written permission of the Mayor, City Clerk or Park Superintendent.
   (c)   Camping shall be limited to RV’s and pull behind camping trailers. Tent camping is expressly prohibited.
   (d)   Any person who violates this section shall be punished as provided in Section 501.99. (Ord. 2006-02. Passed 1-17-06.)
