The Mayor with consent of the City Council shall appoint a Director of Senior Services. With oversight of the Senior Services Board, the Director shall manage the day-to-day operation of the Hansford Senior Center, the senior services programs of the City and other such requirements as may be specified by the Codified Ordinances. Employees in this classification perform supervisory work. Position is responsible for preparing the Department annual budget request; supervising and directing staff at all levels; responsible for the operation of the Hansford Senior Center and will act as the primary liaison with Putnam Aging, Kanawha Valley Senior Services, Friends of Hansford and/or such other agencies providing support of senior programs within the City. Performs related work as required.
