141.05 RULES AND REGULATIONS
   The Fire Chief shall prepare rules and regulations for the Fire Department which rules and regulations shall not be inconsistent with State law or other provisions of these Codified Ordinances and which rules and regulations shall provide for the management of the Department; personnel policies for the members of the Department; and for disciplinary procedures which procedures shall not be inconsistent with applicable civil service laws or ordinances of the State or the City. Prior to becoming effective, such rules and regulations shall be ratified, confirmed and approved by a resolution of Council. Such rules and regulations may from time to time be amended by the Fire Chief but in the case of an amendment, such amendment shall not be effective until ratified, confirmed and approved by a resolution of Council.
