There are hereby adopted as the standards, for gas piping and appliance venting in the City, those International Fuel and Gas Code standards promulgated and published by the American Gas Association and the International Code Council (ICC) dated 2000, and the same are hereby incorporated by reference herein and made a part of this Code as if fully set out verbatim and shall be governing and controlling for the purposes therein set forth.
