§ 50.04 CHARGES FOR SERVICE CONNECTIONS.
   (A)   Permit and fee. No connection shall be made to the city water or sanitary sewer system without a permit received from the Clerk. The fee for each permit for the water main connection and for a sewer connection permit shall be as set forth in the city fee schedule. These fees shall be in addition to any fees required under division (B) of this section.
   (B)   Connection fees. When a connection requires installation of a service line from the main to the property line, the applicant for a permit shall pay a water main connection fee and a sewer main connection fee as set forth in the city fee schedule. The applicant will also be responsible for street and sidewalk repairs made necessary by the connection, which repairs shall be to the satisfaction of the Water and Sewer Department for a period of 12 months.
   (C)   Certification. No permit shall be issued to connect with any water or sanitary main without approval of Council.
