§ 18-116 METER TESTING AND SPECIAL READINGS.
   (A)   The city will make special meter readings at the request of the customer for a fee as provided in the schedule referenced in § 18-109 of this chapter; except that, no fee shall be charged if such special reading discloses that an error prejudicial to the customer has been made by the city.
   (B)   If the customer believes that a water meter on his or her premises is not registering his or her water consumption accurately, he or she may request a test of the meter by the city. The standard for meter accuracy is +10%. Charges will be made for this service pursuant to § 18-109 of this chapter; except that, no charge will be made if the test discloses that the meter is operating inaccurately in a manner prejudicial to the customer.
