The Board of Mayor and Aldermen may contract for the collection of residential refuse within the corporate limits. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen may contract for the collection of commercial refuse within corporate limits. In the event the Board of Mayor and Aldermen elect to not contract for the collection of commercial refuse, it shall become the responsibility of the commercial enterprise to secure refuse collection services in accordance with all applicable city ordinances. Collections shall be made regularly in accordance with an announced schedule.
