§ 7-801 BURN PERMITS.
   The fees for burn permits will be used to cover the cost for an inspection of the site for any violation of the Environmental Protection Agency regulations. The permit will localize contact information of the applicant to address any complaints made. The permit will be required for land- clearing fires, large scale fires and fires in close proximity to any schools, day care facilities, highways or subdivisions. A permit will not be required for exempt patio stove fires, camp fires, warming fires, construction warming sites and small entertainment fires. No petroleum based products such as rubber, PVC and treated lumber can be burned. Only untreated framing lumber scrap, brush, small trees and other dry vegetation is allowed. The fee shall be $50.
