(A) (1) Pursuant to authority granted by Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 6-54-501 through 6-54-506, and for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, the following codes are adopted:
(2) The International Fire Code, 2018 edition, excluding appendices, as prepared by the International Code Council is hereby adopted by reference and included as a part of this code. Said Fire Code is adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein and shall be controlling within the corporate limits.
(B) Pursuant to the requirement of Tenn. Code Ann. § 6-54-502, one copy of these codes (and any amendments thereto) has been filed with the City Recorder and is available for public use and inspection.
