§ 135.14 DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS AND BOWS.
   (A)   Except in the case of persons acting under this Nation's military authority, persons acting in self-defense, law enforcement officials engaged in enforcing the laws, or in ranges which the police department determines are so constructed and so operated as to meet minimum safety requirements for the protection of the public as well as the participant and for which a license for operation has been issued by the chief of police, no person shall discharge any kind of firearm or dangerous weapon whatever, including pistols, rifles, shotguns, air-rifles, air guns, or bow and arrow by whatever name known, nor discharge any objects from a mortar. Such range license shall be renewed annually after police inspection, for a fee of $25 per annum.
   (B)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of the unlawful discharge of a firearm, a misdemeanor of the third degree.
