For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
COMMUNITY SERVICE FEE or CSF. The fee required to be paid to the city by a VSP in accordance with the requirements of § 124.02.
INCUMBENT CABLE PROVIDER. Any person who on the effective date of this chapter is the holder of a cable franchise agreement with the city as granted pursuant to requirements of 47 U.S.C 541.
INTERCOMMUNITY CABLE REGULATORY COMMISSION (ICRC). A regional council of governments organized under Ohio law of which the City of Springdale is a member having the authority to conduct certain administrative procedures on behalf of the city in relation to this chapter.
PEG. The activities or actions performed for the benefit of public, educational and government video programming by the city or ICRC.
VIDEO SERVICE.The service defined in R.C. § 1332.21(J).
VIDEO SERVICE AUTHORIZATION or VSA. The authorization granted to a video service provider in accordance with the requirements of R.C. §§ 1332.21 to 1332.34 et seq.
VIDEO SERVICE PROVIDER OR VSP. A person, firm, or corporation granted a Video Service Authorization under R.C. §§ 1332.21 to 1332.34 et seq.
VIDEO SERVICE PROVIDER FEE OR VSP FEE. Means the fee paid by a VSP in accordance with the requirements of R.C. § 1332.32.
