Upon any street in the municipality other than state routes and county roads, no person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle exceeding a size as specified in § 76.51 or exceeding a gross weight of 5 tons except when such parking is necessary to load or unload property, to perform other business services requiring the parking of such vehicle, to comply with the provisions of this traffic code, or to obey the directions of a police officer or a traffic control device. Operators of vehicles so parked for business reasons within the municipality shall limit such parking to a reasonable period of time to perform the loading or unloading or other business service.
