§ 118.02 REGISTRATION.
   No Class A, B, or C licensee or person, firm or corporation required to be licensed by the State of Ohio, Department of Commerce, or any of the licensee's investigators or employees, shall engage in the city in the business of private investigation or the business of security services unless said person, firm or corporation has first been licensed by the State of Ohio as required by R.C. Chapter 4749; and within 12 hours of first arrival for any assignment, the licensee registers with the police chief on the forms provided. Such registration, shall include the following information:
   (A)   Intended length of stay.
   (B)   A copy of all licenses issued the private j
   (C)   One complete set of fingerprints, one recent photograph of the licensee, employee and investigator, and his or her physical description. This requirement may be waived at the discretion of the Chief of Police, if the registrant establishes that he or she is properly licensed by the State of Ohio.
   (D)   In the case of an employee only, a copy of his or her state identification card bearing license number and signature of the licensee.
   (E)   If a Class A, B, or C licensee, or a registered employee or investigator of a Class A, B or C licensee, intends to carry a firearm, as defined in R.C. § 2923.11, in the course of engaging in the business or employment, within the municipal corporation, the licensee or employee or investigator so intending shall indicate the same to the Police Chief or his designate, on the registration form, while registering. Nothing in this section shall be construed to confer upon a private investigator, security guard provider, or employee or investigator a right to carry a firearm.
   (F)   The licensee, employee and investigator shall, on the form required, provide the registration number of the weapon which he plans to carry or in fact carries. This requirement may be waived at the discretion of the Chief of Police, if the registrant establishes that he or she is properly licensed by the State of Ohio.
   (G)   The licensee, employee and investigator shall also provide on the form required his or her social security number.
   (H)   Such other information as the Police Chief determines is necessary for the public safety.
