(A) No alarm system shall be maintained or installed in any residence or other structures in this city until a permit for the installation is issued to the subscriber or property owner by the city administrator.
(B) This permit requirement shall also apply to alarm systems presently installed as of the date of this chapter.
(C) There shall be a $2 fee charged for the permit. Application for the permit, to be made by the subscriber or property owner, shall contain the following information:
(1) The name and address of the property owner.
(2) The location of all alarmed doors, windows, pressure pads or other devices which would trigger the alarm system.
(3) The location of all alarm consoles and operation instructions for each alarm location.
(4) The name of the company installing the system.
(5) The make and model number of the equipment installed.
(6) An agreement that the owner, his representative, or a representative of the alarm business with access to the alarm system, will respond to the alarmed premises at any time the alarm is actuated.
(7) Agreement to use an assigned code number for the installation.
