(A) Every person engaged in the business of operating one or more taxicabs as defined in § 111.01 of this chapter shall pay the annual license fee required by § 111.02 of this chapter and shall comply with all the provisions of this chapter and all ordinances pertaining to the regulations of taxicabs.
(B) When licenses are issued for taxicab operation after July 1, of any year, the fee shall be ½ of the annual fee. All licenses shall expire on December 31 of the year for which they are issued.
